Lionheart Wealth

For people at or near retirement

Money sitting safely in cash, CDs, or a retirement account? Let's make sure it's actually working.

Lionheart Wealth helps people understand what to do with the conservative money they've worked hard to build (savings, CDs, money markets, IRAs, and 401(k)s), in language that makes sense, without a sales pitch.

Sound familiar?

If you've been asking yourself these questions, you're in the right place.

Most people we talk with aren't in trouble. They've been disciplined, they've saved, and now they're trying to make good decisions with money that's been sitting still.

  • Is the cash I've set aside actually working as hard as it could be?
  • How do I protect my principal and still look at better opportunities?
  • What will taxes do to my IRA or 401(k) later in retirement?
  • Does a Roth conversion make sense in my situation, or not?
  • How do annuities actually work, in plain language?
  • How do I make these decisions without being pressured into something?

How Lionheart Wealth helps

Three ways we help.

Make Your Cash Work Harder

Money in savings, CDs, and money markets is safe, but safe doesn't automatically mean efficient. We look at what your conservative dollars are doing today and what options may be worth considering.

Strategic Roth Conversions

Leaving a large traditional retirement account untouched is still a tax decision. We walk through whether gradually converting some of it could fit your timeline, tax picture, and goals.

Plain English Financial Education

Through Make It Make Cents, Kwanza translates complicated financial concepts into language people can actually use, for individuals and for organizations.

The approach

Education first. Decisions second.

You should never feel rushed into a financial decision, or embarrassed to ask a question twice. Our job is to help you understand your options well enough to decide for yourself.

Plain English, always

If a concept can't be explained clearly, it isn't ready to be a decision. No jargon, no acronyms without translation.

Education before pressure

Understanding comes first. You decide what happens next, on your timeline.

Evaluated individually

No strategy is right for everyone. What fits depends on your taxes, timeline, liquidity, and goals.

The whole picture

Cash, retirement accounts, income needs, and taxes are connected. We look at them together, not in isolation.

Meet Kwanza

The person on the other end of the call.

Originally from Panama and raised in a military family, Kwanza learned her earliest money lessons from a mother who saved carefully and avoided unnecessary spending. That foundation taught her discipline, but it also sparked a desire to understand money deeply enough to make financial decisions from knowledge rather than fear.

After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Florida and working as a controller, Kwanza entered the investment industry nearly a decade ago. She founded Lionheart Wealth to make complex financial concepts easier to understand and help people approach financial security with greater clarity and confidence.

Make It Make Cents

Financial education your people will actually use.

Financial information is everywhere. Clear, practical education that people understand and can apply is much harder to find. Kwanza leads sessions for companies, professional and athletic organizations, community groups, membership organizations, and employee groups.
